terrain - easy/medium difficulty - in parts a somewhat rough dirt/ mud path with some very moderate climbs

rountrip distance - 0.8 miles

Directions: Olompali State Historic Park is off 101S between Novato and Petaluma. There is only an exit from the southbound side of the freeway - if you are coming from Novato, you will have to go past the park and turn around. There is a $5.00 parking fee.

The name of this park always makes me think of the Oompa Loompas from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
