Nancy Drew #80

The Case of the Disappearing Diamonds

This page is currently under construction - please return in the future for further information. In the mean time, I have prepared a brief gallery of the covers of The Case of the Disappearing Diamonds.

Synopsis (note: spoiler alert):  Mystery writer Monica Crown hires Nancy to prove her jailed daughter is innocent of a diamond heist.  Who wrote the anonymous note to the author, confirming her belief?  Before Nancy makes much headway, Mrs. Crown's crashed car is found in a ditch, but no body is recovered.  Several attempts are made on Nancy's life before she finally exposes the embittered gem cutter who stole the diamonds and framed Karen Crown.
