The Legend of Miner's Creek |
This page is currently under construction - please return in the future for further information. In the mean time, I have prepared a brief gallery of the covers of The Legend of Miner's Creek.
From the S&S Digest Plot File: Nancy, Bess and George head out to the Cascade Mountains to stay at the Highland Retreat, a retreat owned by one of Carson's old friends. Charlie is planning on selling the piece of property tp the government, who plan to turn it into a national park. But lately, there seem to be a numer of mishaps, including fires, pollution and poison. To make matters worse, a government agent is staying at the retreat, studying the land for the final report. If the property is too damaged, the government won't buy it. Nancy and her friends follow a string of clues which leads them to suspect that someone is really after a gold mine that is reported to be on Charli'es property. Nancy's quick thinking saves the retreat from being torched when the culprit tries to make his getaway.
