From the S&S Digest Plot File: Ralph and Celia Moorely can't figure out what's wrong with their Dutch exchange student, Paula. She's been acting strangely: sneaking out late at night, acting nervous and evasive, missing classes, etc. When the Moorelys discover that Paula has cleaned out her bank account, they ask Nancy to investigate. Nancy follows a trail of pawn tickets and burnt scraps of paper that ultimately lead to a devious blackmailing program counselor.
